I was inspired to pursue medicine in high school, driven by a love of science and a deep interest in how the human body works. Coming from a family of educators, teaching has always been important to me, and I value sharing knowledge with my patients, colleagues and future health care professionals. I enjoy reading, learning and teaching whenever I can.Women’s health care has long been a passion of mine. I am often sought out by other providers for help with challenging Pap smears, understanding abnormal results and determining appropriate next steps. I have also taught many individuals how to perform contraceptive procedures, including IUD and Nexplanon placement, and I am particularly skilled at understanding and managing potential contraception side effects.My passion for pediatric care grew from raising my four children. From infant nutrition and developmental milestones to sports physicals and well‑child exams, I enjoy supporting young patients as they grow and helping them become the healthiest versions of themselves.Family is central to my life and helps keep me grounded. I enjoy attending my children’s sporting events, spending time together by the water or in the snow and playing board games. We prioritize family meals and love cooking and trying new recipes together. If I had to choose a hobby, it would be sourdough bread baking — a perfect blend of science, patience and continuous learning.
